The Senior Manager of Commercial Operations and Training develops strong cross-functional relationships and develops, executes and communicates core tactics, programs, messages and training throughout the organization.  He/she interfaces with healthcare providers, customers and organizations, and will work with internal and external teams on planning, development, implementation, and training of promotional activities and materials.  He/she also acts as a project manager for the Commercial Team ensuring that timelines and activities, especially those involving outside organizations, are maintained.

Job Summary:

Essential Functions

To include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Project Management
  • Strategy Development
  • Implementation of Processes
  • Collaborative Team Building
  • Promotional Materials: applies market insights in the conception and development of promotional materials including corporate brochures, booth design, etc.

 

  • Promotional Programs and Events:
  1. creates annual plan for conventions, customer events and sponsorships;
  2. manages contracting;
  3. coordinates shipping of materials;
  4. manages communications with internal constituents involved in the event;
  5. directs vendors on logistics and event support, setup and tear down;
  6. attends events and supports onsite activities and interacts with internal staff, HCPs and guests.

 

  • Operations: 
  1. tracks execution of programs;
  2. tracks and manages sales orders and lead generations
  3. facilitates annual operating planning process;
  4. monitors promotional metrics and collaborates with market research vendors and agency partners to understand trends and to recommend program adjustments as deemed necessary to achieve long-term goals and objectives.

 

  • Budget Management: ensuring marketing and commercial operations spend is effectively used to meet company goals.

 

  • Training: responsible for the full continuum of training across commercial from Initial Sales Training, Advanced Sales Training, National Sales Meeting, POA Meetings, new product launches, management and leadership training, as well as important updates, from selling skills training to disease state/product training.

 

  • Conducts all work in compliance with Eyenovia requirements and within applicable regulatory framework.

 

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES

To include, but are not limited to the following:

 

Education/Training/Experience

  • Four year degree in life sciences, business, or related field
  • Experience in commercial function(s) in pharmaceuticals or medical device company
  • Experience working with Medical Legal Review (MLR) team.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Understands pharmaceutical promotional regulatory framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across all functional groups and all levels.
  • Highly motivated, goal orientated achiever with ability to prioritize and organize own work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with written and spoken English.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to travel 25 – 40% of the time.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Able to climb stairs.
  • Ability to travel by air, rail, car.
  • Able to operate personal computer.

 

Training Requirements

Training in relation to company systems and procedures, as well as individual job duties will be provided by Eyenovia.  The need for additional external training with respect to regulations, industry standards, etc. will be determined by employee’s supervisor, and provided as appropriate.
