Position Title: Sr. Manager, Project Management
Department: Manufacturing
FLSA Status: Exempt (E03)

Scope of Job

Job Summary: The Sr. Manager, Project Management is responsible for providing management support for the senior leadership team in order to ensure the success of the overall business. The Sr. Manager may have responsibility for multi-functional project teams related to the assigned area of responsibility. The incumbent may also be called upon to provide strategic and executional support and internal coordination in the assigned department.

Receives Direction From: Sr. Director / Team Leader, Manufacturing and the assigned functional department head as projects require

Provides Direction To: Indirect to members of the Project Team

Essential Functions
To include, but are not limited to the following:

• Leads multi-functional project team in support of corporate objectives
• Supports the assigned area’s Team Leader in coordination of operational activities and initiatives
• Identifies areas of potential cross-functional efficiencies or issues that can impact timelines and resources; works with the leadership team to address or incorporate resulting action plans
• Participates in the management of departmental external business partners, and serves as the point person with existing and future departmental partners
• Ensures that contractual obligations as they apply to the assigned project teams are understood within the organization and assists in their delivery
• Represents the company with external stakeholders and business partners
• Assists with documentation and improvement activities
• May lead or participate in validation activities
• Other activities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES
To include, but are not limited to the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science; graduate degree in Business, Public Health, or related discipline preferred
• 7+ years of related pharmaceutical industry and/or medical device experience, Project Management Professional certification is preferred
• Knowledge of US development pathways for prescription drugs and medical devices
• Demonstrated facility in working with senior leadership team and influencing without direct control
• Proficient in pertinent software & tools
• Strong critical and logical thinking with ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and implement recommendations for resolution
• Strong communication skills, both written and presentation
• Self-motivated, flexible and creative, able to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, performance driven environment
• Able to quickly take ownership of a given assignment and proactively consult external partners, project team members and/or relevant department representatives for information and guidance as necessary.
• Able to understand and interpret data/information and its practical application
• Travel up to 20%

Physical Requirements: standing, sitting, walking, stairs, light lifting, computer operation. Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (religious or medical opt-out is allowed) is required.
