Mr. Cardinale joined Eyenovia in November 2023 as the National Sales Director of the West and was promoted to Vice President of Sales in October of 2024. With over 25 years in the industry and more than 15 years in executive leadership positions – specializing in building and developing top performing sales teams in pharmaceutical, device and surgical spaces – Mr. Cardinale is well-known and respected. Much of his career has been focused on optimizing salesforces in start-up environments for companies such as Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Nova Eye, Sun Ophthalmics, and ISTA Pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining Eyenovia, Mr. Cardinale was a Director of Sales for Aerie Pharmaceuticals where he strategically built and led award winning sales teams and successfully launched multiple products within the company’s novel glaucoma franchise prior to the company being acquired by Alcon in January 2023.

Mr. Cardinale brings a track record of success and experience launching new franchise products within the eye care space including disruptive technologies in glaucoma, cataract, retina, allergy, and dry eye.

Mr. Cardinale holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Marketing from Fresno State University.
