A clinician-scientist and experienced healthcare administrator, Dr. Tsai serves as the President of NYEE, America’s first and longest operating specialty hospital. He is also the Delafield-Rodgers Professor of Ophthalmology and System Chair of Ophthalmology for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and MSHS. Prior to coming to Mount Sinai, Dr. Tsai served as the Robert R. Young Professor and Chair of Ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine and Chief of Ophthalmology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He received his MD degree at Stanford University School of Medicine and his MBA from the Vanderbilt University Owen School of Management.
